FAQ
1
What are your office hours?
I welcome clients by appointment on a schedule designed to fit your busy life. My hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM EST, as well as evening sessions from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM EST. If you need a weekend time, feel free to reach out as I may have select availability upon request.
2
Do you offer a sliding scale?
While my standard private pay rate is $150 per session, I believe therapy should be approachable for everyone. To support this, I provide a limited number of sliding scale openings based on individual financial needs and current availability. During our initial consultation, we can discuss these options together. Our Tier 1 rate of $99 is designed for those who can meet their basic needs and have some discretionary income, while Tier 2 at $111 is for those who are financially stable yet require a reduced rate to comfortably invest in their mental health journey. Please note that these spots are not guaranteed and are settled during our first meeting.

Accepted Insurance Plans
I am pleased to accept United Healthcare, Cigna, AvMed, and Oscar Health. Aetna is expected to be added soon.

How does self-pay work?
I operate primarily as a self-pay practice to focus on your care. However, I can gladly provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. payments can be made with any major credit card.

How are sessions hosted?
All sessions take place virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform called DOXY. You can easily join your appointment via computer, phone, or tablet from the comfort of your own space.
6
How do I cancel?
To respect the commitment made to your healing and to ensure availability for others, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours of notice if you need to cancel or shift your session. When an appointment is missed or canceled late, the full session fee will apply. I understand that life happens, so if a true emergency occurs, please connect with me as soon as you can. These situations are handled with care and empathy on an individual basis.

Can I work with you from abroad?
I am happy to welcome coaching clients from across the globe, as these sessions are accessible regardless of where you live. For therapy, however, licensing regulations require that you are physically present in Florida when our meetings occur. We can discuss which of these paths best fits your needs and location during our initial chat.

Can you provide therapy for people outside of Florida?
Currently, my professional license is specific to the state of Florida, which means legal regulations require therapy clients to be physically present in Florida during our sessions. While I hope to support more states as I expand my business in the future.
