When she’s not working, Pam enjoys spending time in the water catching waves, practicing yoga, making memories with friends and family, watching films, writing poetry, and romanticizing life.
Pam considers herself a down-to-earth therapist that uses both her personal experiences and professional training to connect with clients on a deeper level, offering a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where they feel seen, understood, and supported through whatever they may be navigating, while empowering them to show up as their authentic selves.

About Me
Pam Zapata is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), born and raised in Miami and a first-generation Latina. She is the founder of Pam Zapata Therapy, providing virtual therapy to clients throughout Florida.
With over 11 years of experience in the mental health field, Pam has worked with a wide range of populations. She specializes in working with children ages 13 and older, young adults, couples, and high-achieving people who are ready to prioritize their healing and reconnect with themselves.

Pam approaches therapy through an identity-focused lens, supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationships, and life transitions. She is particularly passionate about helping eldest daughters and chronic people-pleasers break free from the expectations that keep them stuck, establish healthier boundaries, and step into a more sovereign, authentic version of themselves.
Her therapeutic approach combines evidence-based practices with a holistic twist.
